![]() Written by Matthew Cannata When talking to the media after the first training camp of the 2014 season, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross gave an update in regards to the stadium renovations. He mentioned that he is finalizing the construction plans within the next few weeks and some construction will begin right away. The major renovations though will take place after the 2014 season and then again after the 2015 season. Once the 2014 season is over, all of the seats will be torn out and the stadium will have an entire new bowl with seats much closer to the field. These seats will be ready for the 2015 season. Following the 2015 season, new scoreboards and the roof will be installed in time for the 2016 season. Ross said that even though they aren’t building a completely new stadium, the renovations will be tantamount to a new stadium when all of the construction is complete.
