During the media session of Miami Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey on Tuesday afternoon at the league meetings, it was revealed that the front office is keeping tabs on running back Knowshon Moreno and they are open to bringing him back for the 2015 season under the right circumstances.
Moreno provided fire and energy to the Dolphins offense in week one of the 2014 season against the New England Patriots rushing for 146 yards. However he suffered a dislocated elbow the next week and when he did return against the Green Bay Packers several weeks later, he blew out his knee and ended his season. While he currently isn't under contract, he is rehabbing on his own and the Dolphins are monitoring his progress. If any move is made, it will likely be after the draft and once the Dolphins have a better grasp on their roster heading into the 2015 season. Of course, if the Dolphins end up drafting a running back, the chances of Moreno returning are slim. This story was written by Matthew Cannata. Follow him on Twitter: @PhinManiacs
