The Miami Dolphins took arguably the best player available in the draft in wide receiver DeVante Parker from Louisville. Here is the scouting report, courtesy of Jeff Hyde (@Jeff__Hyde).
DeVante Parker has the ideal body size for an NFL receiver. At 6’3, 209 pounds, and an 80 inch wingspan, Parker provides any NFL team with an instant target for their quarterback to aim for. From there, Parker will do the rest.
Parker will be in immediate contention for one of the starting wide receiver spots with Greg Jennings, Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills and Rishard Matthews in the mix. Last season, he missed 7 games with a foot injury but still had 43 completions for 855 yards and five touchdowns in six games. We'll have a full blown analysis of him Friday morning here on the site.
