The way too early 10-team mock draft for the 2015 NFL fantasy season

To diehard fantasy footballers, mock drafts are an essential key to success. They do not always shake out like your actual draft, but participating in mock drafts will allow you to see trends, and help you be better prepared for your actual drafts. It is highly informative, over a couple of different mock drafts, to see where guys are being drafted, and in what rounds you can grab that player you have highlighted on your draft lists. Mock drafting creates a distinct advantage over your opponents by giving you a better idea where to snag those sleepers, and how far to let some guys fall before taking them.

In this mock draft @bignoahd05 (Ryan Thyer) and @EjFootball (Eldon Jenson) completed the entire mock draft themselves, alternating picks as they went.  EJ had first pick and drafted for five teams, while Ryan drafted for the other five teams. The draft is set up as a 10-team standard scoring league, using a snake draft format, with the following required positions - QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, plus three bench players. For this draft we chose to go with just a three person bench, and drafted no kickers or defenses. Please keep the league set-up in mind as you read through the picks – i.e. this is a non-PPR league.

Both GMs tried several draft strategies, some teams starting out RB-RB-WR, some trying the WR-WR-RB theory, and a couple of teams going with QBs early to see how that impacted overall roster strength.
