The Miami Dolphins held a pre-draft visit and workout with Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker. This news comes courtesy of Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald. Last season, Parker caught 43 passes for 855 yards and five touchdowns. According to Jeff Hyde (Twitter: @Jeff__Hyde), an analyst for the PhinManiacs.com draft guide, Parker is terrific when the ball is in the air. His body control is the best in this year’s draft and has the hands to bring down almost any pass. With only three drops this past year, Parker is as sure handed as it gets in this class. He needs to refine his route running and run blocking at the next level in order to be a complete receiver. Parker's ideal draft round, according to Hyde, is the first round and that meshes with his projected draft round as well. Parker will absolutely be in play for the Dolphins if he is still on the clock with the 14th pick so he is someone definitely worth keeping an eye on over the next several weeks.
