![]() Written by Matthew Cannata Frank Schwab of Yahoo Sports has released his pre-season preview of the Miami Dolphins, who he has ranked 20th in the league Schwab believes the roster heading into this season is better because of the fact that they addressed their biggest weakness – the offensive line. They did this by signing Branden Albert and Shelley Smith while drafting Ja’Wuan James and Billy Turner. Their best offseason acquisition? That would of course, be Branden Albert, who signed a five-year deal worth $47 million dollars with $25 million guaranteed. Albert will be able to protect the left side for Tannehill and be a huge upgrade over what they had last year. Schwab believes that the running back position has the most questions with Lamar Miller still unproven and with the injuries to Knoshown Moreno, who was signed during free agency. A year after just rushing for an average of 90 yards per game, the team needs a huge improvement but Schwab isn’t sure that it can be done with any of these running backs. In terms of breakout players, Schwab lists quarterback Ryan Tannehill and one of the main reasons for that is because he still put up good numbers despite being sacked a league-high 58 times. In 2013, he threw for 3,913 yards and 24 touchdowns. In 2012, he threw 3,294 yards and 12 touchdowns. At this time of the year with the news being so slow, it’s fun to take a look at what others in the media think about the team. In just about two months, we start to get the answers to the questions that we’ll be asking throughout the rest of the summer.
