![]() A Fresh Perspective – Written by Luis Sung With the ongoing Mike Pouncey issue causing even more problems for the Miami Dolphins, discussions have begun regarding whether or not Pouncey is worth the trouble he's causing for the organization, and whether or not it would be a wise move if the Dolphins tried to get whatever they can for their current Pro Bowl Center and jettison his baggage in the process. That line of thinking has made me start thinking about how many other players the Dolphins have let go because of issues not related to football, and how much it's come to bite them before. The most recent one that Dolphins fans will remember is the Chad Johnson incident, and the eventual result of that whole situation. It was widely speculated that Chad Johnson was cut because then new Head Coach Joe Philbin wanted to make an example of Johnson - no matter who you are, or what your past achievements were, you were not safe in the Dolphins organization; if you crossed the coach, you would indeed find yourself in a world of trouble. > Click here to read the rest of the column |
